ITS Maintenance – Load Balancer (supporting CCU essential services, such as Colleague, MyCCU, Self-Service, VPN services and more)

ITS will be performing a required maintenance on the following system that supports many of CCU’s essential services and systems. Please plan accordingly.

System: Load Balancer

Maintenance Date and Time: Sunday, Nov. 17, 2024, beginning at 11 p.m.

Expected Duration: 5 minutes

Impact: The following services will be unavailable for about 30 seconds: VPN services, Colleague, Colleague UI, Self-Service, MyCCU, Perceptive Content services, and login access to PeopleAdmin.

All services in Coastal Science Center, Atlantica Hall, Tennis and 450 Century Circle are being impacted by a power event at Coastal Science Center. Services should restore when the power is restored.

WiFi - CCUguest Wireless guest access CCUguest is experiencing issues

The security vendor that provides guest credentials are experiencing issues with sending text via their AWS services. They are aware of the problem and CCU ITS is monitoring.

Users may work around the problem by disconnecting from WiFi temporarily to receive the emails containing the credentials via another internet source such as cell service or hotspot.
