Scheduled URGENT Fiber maintenance will begin shortly.

ITS has scheduled emergency fiber maintenance that impacts the following systems, please plan accordingly.

Systems: Internet and Telephone Services
Maintenance Date and Time: Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 3-3:30 p.m. Duration: 30 minutes Impacts: Intermittent campus-wide internet/network and telephone outages may occur during the maintenance window, including at University Place.

    Issue Report - Cellular Service Outages Nationwide

    Currently, there is a nationwide cellular service failure for AT&T cellular customers. Verizon and T-Mobile cellular customers may also be affected, although the impact is reported as less widespread than AT&T. HTC will update CCU on new developments and changes.

    Use eduroam wireless (https://www.coastal.edu/its/facultystaff/wirelesscampus/eduroam/) when on campus and CCUResNet (https://www.coastal.edu/scs/wireless/) in University Housing locations to stay connected during this outage.

  • HTC continues to report that AT&T customers are gradually regaining service.

    If anyone is still experiencing an issue, please turn your phone on airplane mode, wait for 30 seconds, and then turn it back off.

  • HTC reports that some users are experiencing a restoration of AT&T mobile service in our area, yet they are still awaiting official confirmation of a complete resolution.
