Work has been scheduled for Friday July 10th, 2026 beginning at 6:00am. This work may last up to 12 hours causing intermittent and long periods of down time for Internet services and VoIP in the following locations:
Coastal Science Center 450 Century Circle (all portions) Tennis Complex Intramural Fields building and Atlantic Hall
ITS will perform a KACE Ticketing System update at 2:30 p.m. that will impact access to online ticketing services for Information Technology Services, Student Computing Services, and Moodle Services. Expected downtime will be approximately 30 minutes.
Horry Telephone Cooperative (HTC) has announced that there will be cable maintenance and fiber splicing on the cable node located at the intersection of Carolina Road and Presbyterian Drive on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021 starting at 5 a.m. This maintenance is being completed to alleviate downstream bandwidth saturation and improve internet speeds. Service interruption should only be approximately 1 hour for cable service at Coastal Carolina University.
Updates have been made and a possible resolution to the performance issues reported by users. This issue will be closely monitored until it is determined completely resolved.
We are experiencing an issue with VoIP telephone services that is affecting outbound telephone call processing. Reports of intermittent outbound call failures have been made. ITS is working diligently with SEGRA to further determine the situation and a solution. An update will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

We are experiencing an issue with the ITS Ticketing System / Online Request System. ITS technicians will perform maintenance at 2 p.m. to resolve the system issue. This will impact ITS, Student Computing Services and Moodle support online help desk requests. Expected downtime will be approximately 10 minutes.
