HTC notified us this evening of their plan to perform a critical update overnight due to the network issues CCU encountered today; please plan accordingly:
Systems: HTC Maintenance - Network and Telecommunication Services
Maintenance Date: Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022
Duration: Expected up to four hours beginning at 1 a.m.
Impact: Brief service interruptions to network and telephone are expected during the maintenance window.
The issues with VoIP telephone services and Internet services on campus have been fully restored.
CCU is currently experiencing intermittent issues with VoIP telephone services and Internet services. ITS technicians are working with Segra to further determine the situation and a solution. An update will be provided as soon as we have more information.
All Microsoft services are operational. If you are still experiencing issues, please call x5000 or enter an ITS ticket at http://5000.coastal.edu for support.
Currently, users may experience log-in issues with Microsoft Teams and possibly other Microsoft applications installed on your computer. ITS is aware of the situation and is monitoring progress through our Microsoft representative. If you are experiencing issues, please use the web version of Microsoft 365 at https://portal.office.com until this issue is resolved.
All internet access issues are now resolved.
We are currently experiencing internet access issues. . ITS is investigating the issue and working with our internet service provider Segra for additional support.
ITS has scheduled maintenance for the following systems, please plan accordingly.

Maintenance Date and Time: Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, from 9 to 10 p.m.
Duration: One hour
Impact: This maintenance impacts the following systems: Self-Service, Colleagueui, & VPN authentication.
Self-Service is operational.
Self-Service is currently experiencing performance issues.
Service provider has provided an update that all work has been completed to restore services.
SEGRA repair team has identified and repaired issues causing the telecommunication services disruption. There has not been confirmation that repairs are 100% completed. Both VoIP phone lines and analog service phone lines are currently accepting and allowing outbound and inbound calls to and from off-campus. There may remain to be intermittent outages while repair is finalized.
Segra is currently experiencing wide-spread telecommunication issues and is working to identify and resolve the issue. This issue does not impact internal calls from one office to another, however this does impact outbound and inbound calls to and from off-campus. This outage is affecting both VoIP phone lines and analog service phone lines. ITS is working with the vendor to monitor this issue.
CCU - Virtual Private Network services have been restored.
CCU Virtual Private Network Services remain to be down. ITS is still working with our vendor regarding the outage and to find a solution as quickly as possible.
