Panorama for Digital Accessibility (in Moodle) provides organizations the unique ability to correct the accessibility of their digital content and provide alternative formats for users with learning disabilities.
Self-Service is a secure location for accessing university services, for instance, course registration and viewing grades for students. Employees access Self-Service to view faculty class rosters and manage employee leave, time cards, and more.

Work has been scheduled for Friday July 10th, 2026 beginning at 6:00am. This work may last up to 12 hours causing intermittent and long periods of down time for Internet services and VoIP in the following locations:
Coastal Science Center 450 Century Circle (all portions) Tennis Complex Intramural Fields building and Atlantic Hall
The previously reported issues are resolved. Services are operational.
ITS has received reports of intermittent issues when accessing Self-Service (https://sservice.coastal.edu/Student/) and Perceptive Content. ITS is actively working with the vendor (Ellucian) to return functionality as soon as possible.
ITS will be performing critical maintenance on the network hardware servicing HTC Center, Grounds, and Central Energy Plant 2. Please plan accordingly.

Maintenance Date and Time: Today, Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025 3:00pm
Duration: 30 minutes
Impact: During this maintenance window, the occupants of the buildings may experience intermittent outages for all internet and VoIP telephone services. This maintenance is required.
ITS will be performing required hardware upgrades on multiple systems. Please plan accordingly.
System: Server Environments (Virtual)
Maintenance Date and Time: Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday, August 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Duration: Approximately two days
Impact: This maintenance is required to support many of Coastal Carolina University's important systems and services, including MyCCU, Self-Service, CCU website, Perceptive Content, Ellucian Colleague, and others. Due to the implementation of redundancy technologies, no service disruptions are currently anticipated. However, in the event that any disruptions do occur, ITS will issue further communications and provide updates on the Status Page.
8/10/2025, 7 p.m. Update: The first day of maintenance is complete.
8/11/2025, 2:42 p.m. Update: The second day of maintenance is complete.
Following troubleshooting, the issue was identified as local hardware. There are no longer reports of incoming call issues on campus.
Reports have been made to CCU ITS that there are possible issue with incoming phone calls. Calls appear to drop or come in as dead air with no sound either end. A trouble ticket has been opened with the campus phone service provider to initiate and investigation as to the cause.
