ITS Maintenance - Energy Plant Tuesday April 1, 2025 10:00am – 12:00pm

On Tuesday April 1, 2025 between the hours of 10:00am – 12:00pm, ITS will be performing a network upgrade on equipment located in the Energy Plant.

Maintenance Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025; beginning at 10:00am Duration: 2.0 hours Impact: During this time, building occupants located in Energy Plant may experience intermittent network and telephone service outages.

ITS Maintenance - Facilities 3, Facilities 4, Facilities 5 Tuesday April 1, 2025 3:30pm - 5:30pm

On Tuesday April 1, 2025 between the hours of 3:30pm – 5:30pm, ITS will be performing a network upgrade on equipment located in Facilities 3.

Maintenance Date: Tuesday, April 1, 2025; beginning at 3:30pm Duration: 2.0 hours Impact: During this time, building occupants located in Facilities 3, Facilities 4, and Facilities 5 may experience intermittent network and telephone service outages.

On Saturday April 5, 2025 between the hours of 7:45am – 9:45am, ITS will be performing a network upgrade on equipment located in HTC Center.

Maintenance Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025; beginning at 7:45am Duration: 2.0 hours Impact: During this time, building occupants located in HTC Center, Grounds Building, and Energy Plant 2 may experience intermittent network and telephone service outages.

Telephone Services Issue Report - Telephone Services - Caller Audio Issues

We have had reports of poor voice quality on incoming telephone calls. We are working with the service provider to identify the root cause. Updates will be provided as they become available.

The telephone / voice quality and voicemail issues for incoming campus calls has been resolved.

If you encounter call quality problems following this email, please record the caller ID/telephone number, date, time of call, and a short description of the problem. Afterwards, go to https://5000.coastal.edu and submit an ITS telephone service request with these details.

Telephone Services Issue Report

Reports have been made that off-campus calls inbound to campus extensions are not going through. A critical case has been opened with our service provider. Updates will be made as more information is made available.

Telephone Services Issue Report

We have had reports of poor voice quality on incoming telephone calls. We are working with the service provider to identify the root cause. Updates will be provided as they become available.

The telephone / voice quality and voicemail issues for incoming campus calls has been resolved. Should you experience call quality issues after this incident updated please document the caller ID information, date and time of call, and brief description of the issue; Then visit 5000.coastal.edu and open a telephone service request providing this information.

Service providers believe they have identified the location of the issue but have not yet identified the root issue. Voice traffic has been temporarily rerouted to provide better services until the issue is fully resolved. If you experience call issues after this incident updated please document the caller ID information, date and time of call, and brief description of the issue; Then visit 5000.coastal.edu and open a telephone service request providing this information.

ITS reports additional issues of failed inbound call audio from calls outside of the university. The support cases with SEGRA and HTC are still open, Segra is onsite with a technician to investigate further.
