The issue has been resolved.
ITS has temporarily rerouted authentication for Moodle. All CCU users should now be able to log in to Moodle until a permanent solution is implemented for Microsoft Azure authentication.
Server certificate issue. Vendor support incident ticket created.
ITS has identified an issue affecting the ability for users to login and access CCU services – such as Moodle and Office 365 – that authenticate via Microsoft Azure. Backend services are being investigated.
Move status to operational
Microsoft now reports the following:
Current status: We've confirmed that the issue was caused by a routine service update which inadvertently contained a code issue that prevented some users from accessing their mailbox via Outlook on the web. We've reverted the change and have confirmed that service has returned for a majority of affected users. We expect full mitigation within the next 30 minutes.

Microsoft is currently experiencing some code link issues. Impact: user may experience 500 error codes when loading.
