Work has been scheduled for Friday July 10th, 2026 beginning at 6:00am. This work may last up to 12 hours causing intermittent and long periods of down time for Internet services and VoIP in the following locations:

The telephone / voice quality and voicemail issues for incoming campus calls has been resolved. Should you experience call quality issues after this incident updated please document the caller ID information, date and time of call, and brief description of the issue; Then visit 5000.coastal.edu and open a telephone service request providing this information.
Service providers believe they have identified the location of the issue but have not yet identified the root issue. Voice traffic has been temporarily rerouted to provide better services until the issue is fully resolved. ITS reports additional issues of failed inbound call audio from calls outside of the university. The support cases with SEGRA and HTC are still open, Segra is onsite with a technician to investigate further.
We have had reports of poor voice quality on incoming telephone calls. We are working with the service provider to identify the root cause. Updates will be provided as they become available.

Duration: 2 Hours
Impact: The Ticketing System / KACE Appliance will not be available during the maintenance window due to a required systems upgrade and maintenance. This maintenance impacts the availability of the ITS, Student Computing Services, Moodle Services, University Marketing and Communications, HR Service Center, Human Resources, Institutional Research, Assessment and Analysis, Athletics Digital Services, Academic Affairs Division, and Financial Aid & Scholarships ticketing systems for the duration of the maintenance window.
Services are restored and operational.
ITS is aware that users are experiencing login errors when trying to log into Perceptive Content's web version. ITS is working to get this resolved as soon as possible.
Crews have completed repairs. Services have been restored.
The service provider has a team actively working to fix fiber damage related to this issue. Currenty the ETA for the repair team is 5:30pm but there is not yet an ETA on repair completion. The damage is extensive and will be time consuming. Updates will be provided as they are made available.
