Issue Report - Cable TV Services

If you are experiencing Cable TV outages on campus, this is due to construction at the softball stadium. Once the construction is completed, Cable TV services should be restored.

SUSPENDED: EXTENDED: ITS Maintenance - Internet Services Routing - No Impact

ITS will be performing maintenance for the following system:

EXTENDED to Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 10 p.m.

EXTENDED to Thursday, Jan. 19 at 10 p.m.

EXTENDED to Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 p.m.

SUSPENDED due to winter storm. Will continue on Monday through Tuesday, Jan 25 at 10 p.m.

EXTENDED to Tuesday, Jan 25 at 10 p.m.

EXTENDED to Wednesday, Jan 26 at 10 p.m.

EXTENDED: Congestion issues were discovered and Vendor is identifying and will address and test before rerouting again. Will post extension time once that is completed.


System: Internet Services

Maintenance Dates: Saturday, Jan. 15 at 8 a.m. through Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 10 p.m.

Duration: Four days

Impact: There will be no disruption to internet services. ITS will be routing internet traffic over the emergency circuits for capacity testing.

Telephone Services Resolution

Analog phone services have been restored.

Telephone Services Issue Report

We are experiencing an issue that affects analog phone lines. This includes fax lines, elevator communication lines, and alarm service lines. ITS and SEGRA technicians are working to further determine the situation and a solution. An update will be provided as soon as additional information is known.

ITS Notice - Amazon Web Services Outage Reported

CCU services are experiencing effects from a reported outage of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud servers. This outage is causing slow loading or failures for systems and services that use AWS services, such as Respondus Lockdown Browser and Monitor, Ally, RIVS Interview Stream services, and potentially other systems/services using AWS as this issue persists. ITS is monitoring this situation as it evolves.

Internet access Internet and Telephone Access Issues - Restored

CCU was experiencing an internet and phone access outage due to off-campus issues around 2:30 p.m.

Internet and phone connectivity are restored as of 3 p.m. ITS is working with Segra and HTC to ensure they are continuing to resolve all connectivity issues.
